Awesome man.
I think you'd enjoy reading "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, a truly remarkable book :]

He absolutley is.
Have you read The Selfish Gene? It's next on my agenda.
Depends on whether it's at the library or not; I've been brought up Catholic [oh yes, another ssd victim of child indoctrination] so I have to kinda hide these books. Plus I go to a "faith" school so I have to be quite discreet to avoid trouble. Pathetic really :/

Actually, Selfish Gene is one of the only books by Dawkins I haven't read so far. I started with River out of Eden, and have read everything except Climbing Mount Improbable and Selfish Gene.

It's not pathetic. And you're not alone. Sometimes hiding stuff like that from the ones you love is an act of bravery too.

You may enjoy reading the blog and books of Dale McGowan (disclosure: I painted his blog banner -I was a fan from before that though!)

My biology teacher has a few books, of which he's willing to lend me; we can't really have discussions about it because he could get sacked which is annoying.

The reason I hide them is I don't want to offend them, my mum's had a really hard life and having a bit of faith has gotten her through it so I'm fine with that.

I'll have a read, thanks :)
